1. 500kV Transmission System Development [Transmission
Lines and Substation]

Brief Description of project:
The 500kV transmission system is the single largest
transmission system to be ever developed in Malaysia.
TTSB is the first ever local contractor to be awarded
a project of this magnitude. Valued at RM1.6 billion,
the system forms the new backbone of the National Grid.
Begun in 1995, Phase 1 involved the design and construction
of the 500kV overhead transmission lines from Gurun,
Kedah in the North along the west coast to Kapar, in
the central region and from Pasir Gudang to Yong Peng
in the south of Peninsular Malaysia.
The total distance covered for the 500kV transmission
lines is 522km and the 275kV portion is 73km.
2. 500kV Janamanjung Transmission Lines

Contract Value: RM14.8 Million
Commencement Date: 22nd February 2000
Completion Date: 21st August 2001
Brief Description of project:
The construction of 40km of 500kV Double Circuit Transmission
Lines from Ayer Tawar to Manjung.
3. Implementation of 33kV Distribution Line Project
in Sauk, Perak Darul Ridzuan

Brief Description of project:
The construction of 33kV Aerial Bundle Conductor (ABC)
Transmission Line from Sauk to Chenderoh Power Station.
4. Supply, Erection and Commissioning of 33kV Distribution
Line from Nyior Tujuh to Tok Dor, Terengganu

Brief Description of project:
Rehabilitation works on 37km of 33kV Overhead Lines.
Replacement of Existing 33kV Distribution Lines to a
new 33kV Distribution Lines (Aluminium Conductor on
13.5m Steel Poles).
